  • Lead daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and an excellent client experience
  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, and develop team members; oversee performance management and employee engagement
  • Manage budgeting, P&L oversight, billing, expense control, and accounts receivable
  • Implement and refine policies, workflows, and quality controls; ensure inventory and equipment maintenance
  • Guide client service standards; monitor feedback and reviews; resolve escalations professionally
  • Drive marketing and community outreach, including social media, website content, and local events
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety standards, labor laws, and medical record-keeping requirements
  • Oversee practice technology use; train staff and coordinate with IT support
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals
  • Full-time schedule with a defined Saturday rotation; occasional evening availability as needed Requirements
  • 3-5 years of management experience, ideally in a veterinary or healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated experience with P&L oversight and financial analysis
  • CVPM, CVBL, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and change-management skills
  • Proficiency with practice operations, scheduling, and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; occasional lifting and physical tasks
  • License to practice in California (if role-relevant; not required for non-clinical applicants)
