We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our multi-doctor practice in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. Why You'll Love Working Here Warm, welcoming small animal hospital with a cozy, country-style atmosphere Strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and community involvement Multi-doctor practice offering collaboration and case support Walk-ins and same-day urgent care appointments keep medicine interesting and rewarding Heavy focus on dentistry with opportunities to expand surgical and dental skills Recently updated hospital with: New flooring currently being installed Freshly painted exam rooms and surgery suite Excellent support staff including: 2-3 assistants per doctor 1 RVT on staff 3 team members with Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permits Doctors average approximately 15 patients per day with 30-minute appointment times Supportive mentorship environment for new graduates: Longer appointment times One-on-one surgical training Shadowing opportunities A genuinely positive culture where work-life balance is encouraged Team lunches Weekend hangouts and social gatherings Close-knit, hardworking animal lovers who support one another Our Hospital Features 100% small animal practice Three exam rooms Dedicated surgery suite Ultrasound room Fully stocked pharmacy In-house laboratory diagnostics Ultrasound Digital x-ray Dental x-ray machine Preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care services Currently doing some remodeling/refreshing with new floors and fresh paint!
Schedule Ideal schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Opportunity for 1-2 surgery days per week Flexible scheduling with 1-2 days off each week Community Involvement We are proud to support local rescue and community organizations including: Scooter Pals Bully Rescue What's in it for you:
