The practice has been part of the Oakland veterinary community for years and has built its reputation around combining conventional medicine with a broad range of integrative therapies. The caseload is still grounded in general practice. Veterinarians see wellness appointments, vaccinations, diagnostics, bloodwork, radiography, dentistry, sedated procedures, and routine medical cases, but have access to a much broader range of treatment options when appropriate. The hospital has its own rehabilitation center with an underwater treadmill and therapy pool, along with hyperbaric oxygen, ozone therapy, stem cell therapy, PRP and joint injections, shockwave, cold laser, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and herbal medicine. The practice also works with other veterinarians in the area when integrative therapies can complement a patient's existing conventional treatment plan. The day is intentionally structured around longer appointments rather than high-volume GP. New patient consultations are scheduled for around an hour, giving the veterinarian time to understand the pet's history, talk through the owner's concerns, and build a treatment plan that can include both conventional and complementary care.
