  • Perform comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups, and general practice procedures
  • Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Interpret diagnostics and perform surgery and dentistry as appropriate to experience
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled-substance protocols
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership on daily priorities and workflow improvements
  • Monitor inpatients, participate in rounds when scheduled, and reinforce clinical standards
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture and support efficient case flow Requirements
  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Colorado
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • 1+ year of clinical experience preferred, with solid diagnostic and surgical skills
