Job Description

Veterinary Outpatient Specialty Center is seeking a full-time or part-time board-certified surgeon, or an individual who has completed a residency in small animal surgery, to join our growing team. We are a truly private, specialist-owned multi-specialty practice built around a single, deliberate idea: provide high-quality specialty care in an outpatient setting while maintaining your life outside of the hospital. Our owners, Jeremiah Moorer, DVM, DACVS and Jessica Timian, DVM, MS, DACVIM are on site, personally involved, and available. The Outpatient Model - What Makes This Different This role is designed for a surgeon who wants to operate at a high level and still have a life outside the building. Cases are scheduled, worked up, and treated during regular daytime hours. Patients recover and go home the same day or transfer to a partner facility for any overnight needs - which means: No overnight hospitalization No emergency on-call. Your schedule is predictable and protected, so you can plan your week and your weekends. Focused surgical time. Your day is built around your OR schedule and your consults, not triage. Sustainable pace. Our model is designed to keep surgeons practicing excellent medicine for the long haul. Our Team & Culture The surgery department is central to our collaborative, one-team approach. You'll work alongside experienced, credentialed veterinary technicians and a support team that takes real ownership of patient care. We partner closely with our referring family veterinarians and, where cases call for it, with local emergency facilities for after-hours care. The surgery department works closely with our oncology and internal medicine departments to collaborate on cases that require multi-specialty care. Our culture is close-knit, family-oriented, and genuinely supportive. We're looking for a colleague who enjoys working with patients, clients, and the wider veterinary community - someone motivated to be an active, involved member of the whole hospital team, not just a set of hands in the OR.
