Please independently verify any critical information before relying on it. Description We are hiring for either a FT or PT position. Come to Silverthorne for both work and play! Our practice is located in the rocky mountains, at an elevation of 8,800 ft. Within minutes of our hospital there are 4 ski resorts and many hiking trails. We have excellent fishing, hiking, mountain biking, road biking and Lake Dillon is right around the corner. We are in a prime location for both water sports and winter sports. Do you want to live in an exciting location that offers an amazing quality of life for an active person? If so we are hiring for an associate veterinary position at our modern companion animal practice. Our practice has all the equipment and amenities a small animal veterinarian could need. We are NOT a corporate owned hospital. Our newer hospital location opened spring 2025 and is 8,200 sq ft. The new building has everything a veterinarian would want or need to practice high quality medicine. Each full time associate is assigned to work 4 days a week, with one of those days being a dedicated procedure day. We have 4-5 full time associates, almost every day there is overlap where multiple vets are working together. This position listed is for a general practice position that involves a mix of wellness and emergency/urgent care appointments. We do see a higher volume of urgent care appointments and emergencies than most general practices, due to our non-urban location. The position includes a signing bonus, paid time off, wellness benefit (allowance for gym membership or ski pass), employer health care plan, at cost veterinary care for employee animals, discounted vet care for friends/family of employees, uniform/scrub allowance, AVMA membership, CVMA membership, USDA, DEA and colorado state license fees, liability insurance, generous CE allowance and matching 401K. Well behaved pets can also come to work with our employees! A high base salary is offered with pro-sal based production compensation. No negative accrual. Requirements We would like a candidate to be proficient in both surgery and medicine. Excellent communication skills are necessary. New graduates are welcome to apply.
