Job Description

Job Type:
Full-time | General Practice | Partnership Track Confidential Opportunity | Boynton Beach FL This is a confidential opportunity to join a well-established, multi-doctor general practice as a doctor partner. The practice has served its community for over two decades and has built a loyal, multi-generational client base treating cats and dogs. The founding doctor is ready for the next chapter and has agreed to remain with the practice for a transition period, providing hands-on mentorship and continuity for clients and staff while a new doctor partner steps in and grows alongside the team. Additional details, including the practice name and exact location, will be shared directly with qualified candidates as conversations progress. The Opportunity This role is built around partnership from day one, with a founding doctor who is staying on for a multi-year transition to ensure continuity for the practice's long-time clients and to mentor the incoming partner. A practice with decades of goodwill and an established, loyal client base Meaningful room for growth — the practice has leaned on relief coverage in recent years, leaving real upside for a doctor ready to build back full-time care Plans underway to relocate to a modern, newly built facility within the next few years Path to ownership/equity: [to be finalized] We know that stepping into a partnership like this is a significant decision, and we're committed to a transparent, collaborative process for the right candidate. You'll Never Practice Alone Rather than walking into an unfamiliar practice, you'll have the founding doctor by your side during the transition — someone who knows the clients, the staff, and the community, and who is invested in seeing the practice thrive under your leadership. Direct mentorship from the doctor who built the practice An established, familiar support staff A loyal, longstanding client base A collaborative approach to leadership during and after the transition The Practice & Medicine This is a general practice focused exclusively on cats and dogs — no exotics. The current facility will be replaced with a modern, newly built hospital once the existing lease term concludes. Companion animal general practice — cats and dogs only An established caseload with strong growth potential Planned relocation to a new, modern facility in the coming years Opportunity to help shape the new facility and future direction of the practice Who We're Looking For DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution, with an active or transferable license Comfortable and confident in general practice medicine for cats and dogs Genuine interest in practice partnership and long-term investment in a single location Strong relationship-building skills — comfortable stepping into an established client base Someone who values mentorship and a thoughtful, collaborative transition Compensation & Partnership Benefits Compensation is structured around a competitive base plus production, with the potential for a higher package for an exceptional producer. Base salary in the range of $160,000-$180,000, plus production Compensation may be higher for a strong producer/experienced candidate Path to ownership/equity: [to be finalized] Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Continuing education allowance and paid time off Coverage for licensing and professional dues Why This Opportunity? This is a chance to step into a practice with real history and real goodwill — one where the outgoing doctor is invested in your success and willing to stay on to make sure the transition works for clients, staff, and you.
