Job Overview ~ This is a mobile position and you must have a valid driver's license, your own vehicle and a DVM certified, licensed and insured skilled and experienced veterinarian. We are open 10 am to midnight 7 days a week. Work your own hours and love what you do. A vet tech will accompany you. If you have one that you're comfortable working with, we can interview them to join our team too. ~ 2 positions 1. Wellness Visits - this position requires and experienced Veterinarian with years of experience in the proper treatment and dosing of medications for our furry pet clients which includes rabies vaccines, routine annual check-ups, minor injury or illness and palliative care in the home. Starting at $200 per visit 2. Euthanasia - this position requires an experienced and compassionate Veterinarian that can assist with end of life care in a gentle, kind and sensitive manner. this is one of the hardest days in a pet owner's life. We want to ensure the finest quality care in their final moments. Starting at $400 per visit. Note that our appointments don't normally run more than 30 minutes from the time of arrival. We ensure the client and their fur baby are comfortable and that we can provide the best possible care for their pet. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarians to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional medical care and treatment to dogs and cats, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. Your expertise will help foster a compassionate environment where pet owners feel confident and supported in their pet care journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your veterinary skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting while making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals, accurately diagnosing health issues using veterinary terminology and clinical ethical guidelines. Handle animal restraint and animal handling with professionalism to ensure safety for both animals and staff during examinations and procedures. Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Maintain detailed medical records, laboratory results, and treatment logs in compliance with veterinary internal medicine standards. Ensure all procedures adhere to safety protocols, including infection control measures such as aseptic technique. Proven veterinary experience with a solid understanding of veterinary medicine principles across multiple disciplines. Excellent client communication skills to explain medical conditions clearly and compassionately to pet owners. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory techniques, and internal medicine protocols essential for effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
