Role:
Mirror Lake Animal Hospital is looking for a passionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Villa Rica, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional veterinary care in a supportive, patient-centered environment where your expertise truly makes a difference — for pets and their families alike. Responsibilities:
Perform thorough physical examinations and develop accurate diagnoses for companion animals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for medical, surgical, and preventive care cases Perform routine surgical procedures with precision and care Interpret diagnostic results including lab work, radiographs, and other imaging Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive health Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with practice standards Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution Active veterinary license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain one Experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills Excellent communication and client relations abilities Compassionate, team-oriented, and professional demeanor DEA license or ability to obtain one
