Midwest Bird & Exotic Animal Hospital has been a Chicago institution for 20+ years, with a reputation in exotic medicine that draws clients from five states. Now, with a larger facility opening just blocks away this spring, we're growing our canine and feline services into an all-day practice. This is a rare chance to shape that growth from the ground up, in a brand-new space built for it.
The Opportunity:
Help build our daytime canine and feline caseload, currently rooted in exotics, into an all-day general practice A distinctive mix of growing daytime GP and extended-hours ER exposure, with emergency care beginning after 4 PM Flexibility to shape your canine and feline caseload around your interests, with or without exotics CE stipend, peer learning, leadership support, and potential ownership pathways through NVA At least 3-5 years of experience as a canine & feline DVM in GP or urgent care is required for this role

A brand-new, larger facility opening a few blocks away this spring 11 exam rooms, 2 surgery suites, and a dedicated dental suite planned Dedicated spaces designed to support canine, feline, emergency, and exotic medicine A multi-state client base and an established, well-known referral reputation

Chicago ProSal Compensation & Benefits:
