A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Animal Hospital of Avon is home to a passionate and supportive team that values learning and trust. Our skilled team is made up of five Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) with over 45 years of combined experience, along with four veterinary assistants who have recently completed or are currently enrolled in a veterinary technology program. We are committed to giving back and supporting the development of future veterinary professionals by offering externships and mentorship opportunities for students.
Our team practices the highest level of medicine by creating individualized treatment plans that use multi-modal anesthesia and analgesia, along with tailored patient monitoring and nursing care.
