We are an ambulatory practice covering the greater Boston area with periodic trips to Martha's Vineyard. Although our name suggests that we are a racetrack practice we have not been for a number of years. We have an emphasis on Sports Medicine but we also pride ourselves on providing excellent general care for all horses and their owners from the high level sport horses to the backyard retirees. We are fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, shockwave, class 4 cold laser, video gastroscopy/endoscopy, dental equipment, acupuncture/chiropractic, and IRAP/PRP/Prostride. We are currently a two doctor practice with excellent support staff. The position will include a fully stocked practice vehicle, 1/3 on call time (1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends a month with rotating holidays - flexible scheduling), licensing fees, liability insurance, health insurance, CE stipend, membership dues, 4 day work week with the possibility for a part time position, 10 working days vacation, sick days, and 100% emergency fee included. Retirement benefits are offered after the first year of employment. Salary is commensurate with experience. Plenty of support and mentoring is provided by our experienced veterinarians and through our relationships with many local specialists. The Boston area is an awesome place to call home - if you love the beach, the islands, the mountains and all that the big city has to offer then this area is for you! Check us out at our website and we look forward to hearing from you! Requirements DVM/VMD. Preferably completed a one year internship. Excellent communication, team building and case management skills. Motivation to be a part of practice growth through educational seminars, social media/newsletter contributions.
