A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Come join our independent small animal practice on Boston's beautiful North Shore! We are looking for a highly-motivated and compassionate individual to join our enthusiastic team in providing exceptional medical, dental, and surgical care to our patients and excellent customer service to our clients. What should your skills include? DVM or VMD, small animal experience preferred but new graduates will be considered. You should possess the ability to communicate effectively, and compassionately with clients and staff members alike. Teamwork and interpersonal skills required; you should be prepared to be engaged as both a team member and a leader. You should be capable of multi-tasking with consistent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You should have the willingness to learn new skills as well as enjoy teaching others your skills. What can you expect from us? A well-established practice with dedicated clients and team-oriented support staff State of the art equipment including digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ECG, Idexx and Zoetis in-house laboratory.
