A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

We are working on behalf of a well-established, AAHA-accredited, four-doctor small-animal hospital in Sandy Spring, MD that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its growing team. Nestled in the heart of Montgomery County with easy access to Washington, D.C., this privately owned practice has built a stellar reputation for delivering individualized, high-quality care to every patient that walks through its doors. With a reasonable caseload and ample appointment times, you'll have the space to work cases up properly and provide the very best level of care, without feeling rushed. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services including in-house diagnostics, general and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, reproductive services, wellness and preventive care, telemedicine, boarding, and grooming. You'll be joining a collaborative, multi-doctor team with a genuine depth and breadth of expertise - from dentistry and dermatology to reproduction and emergency medicine - alongside experienced registered veterinary technicians and a dedicated support staff who are truly invested in patient outcomes. About You:
DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US You hold (or are eligible for) a veterinary license in Maryland Passionate about delivering high-quality, thorough, and client-focused care Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills Eager to grow and develop within a supportive, multi-doctor environment
