Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Veterinarian specializing in small animal medicine to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for animal health, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Duties Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals - limited to dogs and cats. Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments with precision and compassion. Assist in emergency medicine cases, utilizing critical & intensive care skills as needed. Conduct various surgical procedures, including general surgery and specialized techniques such as animal catheterization and aseptic techniques. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Maintain detailed medical records following clinical ethical guidelines and veterinary terminology standards. Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and oncology medicine when applicable. Requirements Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice veterinary medicine. Proven experience in veterinary practice with a focus on small animals Strong knowledge of animal restraint, handling, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures. Proficiency in veterinary surgery, dentistry, anesthesiology (including general anesthesia), and emergency medicine. Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices and internal medicine protocols. Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and adherence to clinical ethical guidelines. Pay:

$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
