What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
Duties:
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals
- Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering
- Administer vaccinations and medications
- Conduct regular check-ups and provide preventative care
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license
- Experience working as a Veterinarian is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of animal handling, husbandry, and care techniques
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with equine or pet grooming is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures is beneficial We are in search of full and part time veterinarians that are interested in joining our practice.
