Job Description

Seeking a Supervising Veterinarian at All Creatures Pet Hospital A short commute from Charlotte, our friendly, privately-owned small animal hospital is seeking a full-time veterinarian to lead a passionate staff and shape the culture of our independent practice. Ownership in the practice is available, with the potential for seller financing. ACPH is located in the heart of Stanley, NC and has been an active part of the community for more than 30 years. We want a veterinarian to continue serving our loyal clients, and also to help us grow in an area that is expanding daily. Since we support the community with elective surgical services, we are seeking a doctor who is comfortable performing a variety of in-office procedures.
Expected hours:
40 hours per week, but schedule is negotiable Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnostics to help clients maintain a high standard in pet health Perform a range of common surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, dentals, mass and foreign body removals Maintain detailed medical records, laboratory logs, and treatment documentation adhering to veterinary standards Lead a staff of technicians and supporting personnel, and contribute to the positive environment of the practice Qualifications Ability to commute: 520 NC Highway 27 South, Stanley, NC Holds a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college Holds all active required licenses to practice veterinary medicine in the state of North Carolina DEA or controlled substances registration, or ability to obtain upon hire Carries malpractice insurance coverage Benefits Competitive compensation package Relocation allowance/sign-on bonus A PTO package CE annual allowance Paid Licenses, Dues, & Liability Health care stipend 401K with 3% match Practice Overview ACPH has an in-house lab, x-ray facilities, ultrasound, isolation room, a surgery room with anesthesia gasline and monitoring equipment. There is kennel space for boarding opportunities. Our hospital is client-centered and welcoming. Time with patients is a priority. ACPH has been owned and supervised for the past 22 years by the same veterinarian. We are looking for a doctor to continue this legacy and vision for pet care.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
