A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

About Us Nebraska Vet Services is a fast-paced, true mixed-animal practice in northeast Nebraska with 11 DVMs. Our team provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and production care for patients and clients. Our large-animal veterinarians focus on food animal medicine, dairy, swine, embryo transfer, and related production services. We practice progressive, high-quality medicine in a culture that values hard work and lasting relationships — with support that allows you to grow professionally and personally. About This Role This role is primarily focused on large-animal medicine, with opportunities to support small-animal care as needed.

Our Location West Point is a northeast Nebraska community of about 3,500 people, surrounded by several smaller towns within a 30-minute drive. It offers the feel of small-town living with access to larger-city conveniences and entertainment nearby.
