Introduction Our client is a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that provides emergency care for injured and sick dogs and cats as well as specialty medical and surgical treatment by skilled doctors on a referral basis. They are hiring for an Emergency Veterinarian. Working Hours / Rota This is a full-time position. The hospital's opening hours are Monday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM (next day), and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Doctor hours are open to discussion. Role Description and Responsibilities The role involves providing full ER services. It is ideally suited for an experienced veterinarian but is also open to a confident new graduate. Practice Details The team consists of board-certified specialists in surgery, neurology, and dermatology. The hospital is growing, offering more on-site specialty and emergency services. They offer their clients in-house bloodwork, digital radiography, after-hours emergency surgery, and critical care support when needed. They also offer CT, acupuncture, ultrasonography, MRI, and animal behavioral services. Team There is a huge team of support staff in place. A great team of DVMs who collaborate on all cases.
