Duties Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions across multiple species, including companion animals and exotic animals Perform surgical procedures with precision, including general surgeries, dental procedures, and specialized interventions such as animal catheterization Administer anesthesia using best practices in general anesthesia and monitor animal physiology during procedures to ensure safety Conduct thorough animal restraint and handling to facilitate examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures Utilize veterinary terminology accurately while communicating complex medical information clearly to clients Provide emergency medicine and critical & intensive care for critically ill or injured animals Maintain aseptic techniques during surgeries and procedures to prevent infections Assist with laboratory diagnostics, interpret results, and develop treatment plans based on internal medicine principles Apply clinical ethical guidelines when making treatment decisions in accordance with professional ethics standards Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, pet grooming, nutrition, and preventive care strategies Stay current with advancements in veterinary internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, dentistry, and other specialties to deliver cutting-edge care Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and uphold the highest standards of animal care and welfare Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensing or certification for practice in the relevant jurisdiction Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine principles and practices Demonstrated expertise in animal restraint, handling techniques, and anesthesiology procedures Knowledge of exotic, large animal, and equine medicine is desirable Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory diagnostics, and internal medicine protocols Experience in veterinary surgery, dentistry, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, and critical care is preferred Strong understanding of animal anatomy and physiology to inform diagnosis and treatment plans Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical issues compassionately and clearly Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning within the field of veterinary medicine Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives—both animals' and owners'.
