This is a chance to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, well-reviewed hospital with a predictable schedule and strong clinical resources. The Hospital This AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital combines general practice with continuous emergency coverage, creating an engaging mix of routine, urgent, and complex cases. The clinical team includes GP and ER doctors supported by credentialed technicians and dedicated overnight staff. Facilities include a dedicated dental suite and a large surgical suite, digital imaging and ultrasound, in-house laboratory diagnostics with access to rapid interpretation, and both therapeutic and surgical laser capabilities. On-site services span cardiology support, feline hyperthyroid care, physical rehabilitation and laser therapy, exotic-pet medicine, dental care, and medical boarding. Electronic medical records and streamlined triage systems help the team focus on efficient, high-standard patient care. A mentorship program and collaborative rounds culture support ongoing learning and case discussion.   • Deliver high-quality care across both general practice and emergency caseloads
  • Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
  • Execute soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures with appropriate support
  • Communicate clearly with clients and the clinical team; document thoroughly in EMRs
  • Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, ultrasound, and teleradiology access
  • Support safe medication protocols, including controlled substances
  • Participate in daily rounds, uphold clinical standards, and help refine hospital workflows
  • Collaborate with leadership on priorities that enhance patient care and team efficiency Requirements
  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • Active Pennsylvania veterinary license (or ability to obtain promptly)
  • DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • 1+ year of emergency practice experience
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; comfort with urgent and emergent care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
