Job Description
Equity Oppurtunity Responsibilities:
The veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care while building strong, long-term relationships with our established client base. Responsibilities include seeing scheduled appointments, managing medical cases from diagnosis through follow-up, and collaborating with the practice team to ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have an interest in surgery and dentistry, as well as a desire to become involved in the management and continued growth of the practice. For the right veterinarian, there will be an opportunity to transition into an equity ownership role in the near future.Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school, have successfully completed all required board examinations, and hold an active veterinary license in Pennsylvania.Salary:
Competitive base salary starting in the low six figures. As the veterinarian becomes established within the practice, compensation will transition to a production-based model of 20% of gross production, providing significant earning potential as their client base grows.CaseLoad:
Our patient caseload is approximately 50% canine and 50% feline, providing a well-balanced mix of companion animal medicine. The practice provides comprehensive general veterinary care, including wellness examinations, preventive care, vaccinations, medical case management, general surgery, select orthopedic procedures, and advanced dentistry. Our hospital is well equipped to support both routine and more advanced cases, with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, radiosurgery capabilities, and a complete in-house IDEXX laboratory suite.Benefits:
