Our ER doctors have direct access to a collaborative team of Emergency, Internal Medicine, and Surgery clinicians onsite, with additional specialty support through our sister hospital in Nashville. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions. Triage incoming patients, receive new emergency cases, and manage hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment. Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine. Collaborate closely with Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, technicians, and support teams to provide exceptional patient care. Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Participate in mentorship, continuing education, and ongoing clinical development. What You Bring We're looking for an Emergency Veterinarian who wants more than just another ER job. We're looking for someone who wants to practice great medicine, continue to grow clinically, work alongside people who genuinely care, and become part of a team that feels like a community. DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure. Completion of a rotating internship or experience practicing emergency medicine is preferred, but we are also open to experienced GPs interested in transitioning to ER. Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach. A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care. A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing emergency veterinary medicine.
