What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
- $25,000 signing bonus
- About the hospital: We are an appointment only small animal practice, all sick and wellness appointments are 30 minutes, consult/second opinion appointments are 60 minutes.
Our hospital is equipped with:
Comprehensive in-house laboratory / Partnership with IDEXX Reference Laboratory Digital radiology with imaging consultation availability Mindray ultrasound machine and access to traveling veterinary ultrasound service Dedicated surgical suite with isoflurane anesthesia, up to date monitoring equipment and electrocautery Dental unit with two high speed handpieces, digital dental radiography for all patients in our dedicated dental suite Onsite heska lacuna cytology/blood smear analyzer Companion laser therapy Hours are flexible Monday through Friday with at least one day off during the week and one Saturday a month. We also work with nonprofits such as: Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Pitties and Purrs Rescue, Animal Allies Rescue Foundation, Saving Grace Animal Rescue, LovePaws Rescue, and the Baltimore Humane Society. New graduates welcome! Join us for a unique mentorship opportunity that goes beyond hospital training. Our 12-month formal mentorship program includes tailored communication guidance, a well-rounded curriculum, and personalized support from a dedicated veterinarian mentor.Compensation:
Base salary of $120,000 - $160,000 Production-based bonuses Generous $25,000 signing bonus Benefits include but not limited to: Work-Life-Family (Flexible) scheduling Paid vacation and sick time Paid CE, licensing fees, and professional dues Additional training in areas of special interest 401K with matchInsurance:
