Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to practicing high-quality medicine, values a collaborative team environment, and is passionate about reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in patients. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical exams and diagnostics for small animal patients Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement treatment plans with clear client communication Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures (based on experience) Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with hospital standards Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, and wellness plans Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care Uphold Fear Free practices in handling and treatment Adhere to AAHA standards of excellence in all aspects of care Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain) in the state of practice Proven clinical experience in small animal medicine Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills Commitment to Fear Free principles and patient-centered care Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Fear Free Certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in an AAHA-accredited practice Interest in continuing education and professional development What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Continuing education allowance Professional dues and licensing support Supportive, team-oriented workplace culture Modern equipment and a high standard of care
