A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

We are excited to be working with a well-established, small animal hospital in Fairfax, VA who are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Within the well-equipped hospital, you will find a modern and thoughtfully designed layout, with full in-house labs, an on-site pharmacy, aswell as dedicated surgical and treatment areas. With a dedicated team of licensed veterinary technicians and 25 veterinary assistants, you will always feel well supported in both surgical settings and appointments. Work within a low-drama and highly supportive environment, with long-tenured staff members who all share the same passion for providing high quality veterinary care to every patient and their owners. Recently certified as a Fear Free practice, there is a fully comprehensive benefits package on offer here.
