At Underdog Pet Rescue & Veterinary Clinic, we've built a model where you can practice high-quality medicine, get paid fairly for your time, and still have a life outside of work. We pay hourly ($65-$75/hour) —so you're compensated for every hour worked, including overtime. No production quotas. No revenue pressure. Just thoughtful, ethical care. Your Role As an experienced veterinarian, you'll have the autonomy to: Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical cases Perform surgeries (spay/neuter, mass removals, etc.) Provide dental care Mentor and collaborate with fellow veterinarians Contribute to a positive, team-first clinic culture You'll be supported by a skilled team and colleagues who are experienced in surgery and dentistry, creating a highly collaborative environment. Tools & Support We invest in the tools you need to do your best work: Digital X-ray Dental X-ray IDEXX in-house lab & diagnostics Mindray ultrasound Laser Therapy Broader Impact (If You Want It) We're actively addressing gaps in veterinary access across Wisconsin. Daily urgent care walk-in hours A mobile clinic serving underserved "veterinary deserts" Participation in mobile care is optional , but available if you're interested in expanding your impact. Compensation & Benefits Pay:
