Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our production lines running smoothly, support customer service excellence, and uphold safety standards across the facility. Duties Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes. Conduct repairs involving welding (including <

> welding), low voltage electrical systems, high voltage components, and mechanical assemblies. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Assist in field service activities by diagnosing issues on-site at various manufacturing locations or customer sites. Support technical sales teams by providing expert advice on equipment maintenance and system upgrades. Use industrial mechanic skills to analyze system performance, perform troubleshooting, and implement solutions efficiently. Maintain safety standards by conducting inspections with scissors lifts or other lifting equipment while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to facilitate repairs and upgrades. Experience Proven experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility with a focus on maintenance or technical service roles. Strong background in industrial electrician work, including low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding preferred), and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and automation controls. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics. Experience working with industrial mechanics or as an industrial electrician is preferred; military background is a plus for discipline and technical skills. Excellent customer service skills combined with strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
