Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician (10+ years) who can confidently handle complex systems, troubleshoot efficiently, and represent our company at a high level in front of clients. This is a top-tier role for a technician who is ready to be respected, compensated well, and given the autonomy to do their job right. We are paying over scale for the right individuals. Apply today and take the next step in your HVAC career. Duties Service and repair commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent failures and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters; conduct mechanical repairs including welding and equipment replacement. Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Diagnose complex problems involving plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems; recommend effective corrective actions. Operate a variety of tools and machinery safely, including welding equipment and specialized diagnostic instruments; maintain detailed service records for each job. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician within the HVAC industry or related construction fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, boiler operation, or property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems—particularly ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals and electrical diagrams accurately; proficient with testing tools such as ohmmeters. Valid driver's license with a clean record; capable of operating a driver vehicle for field service calls. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, ventilation fans, ductwork, and related mechanical components. Skilled in welding techniques; experienced in equipment repair and general maintenance tasks. Additional experience in plumbing or appliance repair is advantageous; mechanical or mechanic experience highly valued.
