Heavy Equipment Mechanic

As a Diesel Mechanic you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment. You will be trained to develop deep common-sense and problem-solving skills and you will be expected to work with limited or no supervision in a high performing, safety-driven, professional environment. Every day, you will be challenged and will have to develop new ways of solving issues. THE JOB General operation of construction equipment Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools. Work onsite for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment Developing junior technicians Prepare and complete service orders in a timely manner Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of a computer ability to perform data input for jobs and workorders Electrical Troubleshooting Schematic Reading. Deep knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams Diagnostic Software for Construction Equipment Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record 2+ years of experience repairing/maintaining construction equipment and tools Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools You must have your own tools applicable to position Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
