Heavy Equipment Mechanic with CDL

Starlift Equipment is a Mitsubishi, Clark & Heli Forklift Dealership in West Haven, CT. We have been a leader in the material handling industry since 1986. We are seeking a motivated and skilled technician that is looking for a long-term job with a great company. CDL license and rigging experience preferred but not required. Mechanic will be required to service our customers' equipment by performing diagnostics, maintenance and repairs. Mechanical knowledge of Forklifts, Pallet Trucks, Scissor Lifts and Diesel Equipment is a plus. Technician must be self-motivated, results driven, quality focused, productive, safety minded, have a positive attitude and be company oriented.

Responsibilities:

Repair forklifts, scissor lifts and other heavy equipment Use diagnostic tools to test equipment components Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Rig and transport forklifts

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a mechanic Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Best pay in state. Benefits, medical insurance, 401k plan, uniforms, excellent growth potential. Van provided for road mechanics.
