High School Special Education Teacher Position Category Teaching - High School Position Type Teaching Special Education Posting Start Date 4/11/2026 Posting End Date 5/1/2026 Position Start Date 8/6/2026 School District Blair Public School City, State Blair , OK United States Description Blair Public School is seeking a compassionate and highly qualified Special Education Teacher for the high school level. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum and promoting student success in academic, social, and transitional skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of settings (inclusion, resource, etc.) Collaborate with general education teachers to support student accommodations and modifications Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation for compliance Facilitate IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents/guardians Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations Support transition planning for post-secondary success Required Qualifications Valid Oklahoma Special Education teaching certification (or ability to obtain) Knowledge of IDEA and special education compliance requirements Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Include the following materials with your application: Resume Include the following materials with your application: Reference List Include the following materials with your application: Teaching/Administration Certification Application Instructions Interested applicants should submit a resume, certification, and references to sdavis@blairschool.org Contact Name Stacey Davis Contact Email sdavis@blairschool.orgSimilar remote jobs
