Home Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires a blend of physical capability, empathy, and professional knowledge in patient care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes in health are reported promptly. Assist with heavy lifting and mobility support for clients who require assistance with movement. Uphold resident rights and dignity while providing care in accordance with established protocols. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as necessary. Administer first aid when required and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed. Experience Previous experience in a caregiving role, particularly in assisted living or group home settings is preferred. Familiarity with patient care techniques, including the ability to take vital signs and perform basic first aid. Knowledge of resident rights and the importance of maintaining client dignity is essential. A background in nursing or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as required by client needs.
