III NICU. MDMC

is an inter-city hospital that sees about 1,900 annual deliveries and offers a residency program. In addition to private delivery rooms, MDMC offers private postpartum rooms with lactation support and newborn security overlooking the Dallas skyline. MDMC also hosts several monthly classes including childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Dallas , the ninth-largest city in the U.S., offers a slew of family-friendly (and dog-friendly) activities, a burgeoning arts scene, and 'the world's best skyline.' Many of the main attractions are downtown, including the Dallas Arts District, Klyde Warren Park which offers a 5-acre community green space, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Sixth floor Museum at Dealey Plaza and the iconic Reunion Tower. OBHG OB/GYN

Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty. • typically eight 24-hour shifts per month

Leadership Opportunities:

Ob Hospitalist Group Site Directors perform an important dual clinical/professional role: ensuring their program is achieving clinical and operational objectives and guiding the hospitalist team. Part of the OBHG leadership team, the site director reports to the Medical Director of Operations, and collaborates with the MDO to deliver excellent care, build and maintain relationships and oversee the program's financial health. Responsibilities include working five or more Hospitalist shifts each month, and traveling to address hospital and operational priorities as needed.
