Overview About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate combines strong teaching ability with hands-on golf shop experience, and brings a genuine passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members, guests, and staff alike. Key Responsibilities Instruction & Player Development Deliver individual and group golf lessons for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced Design and lead junior golf programs, clinics, and camps Help develop and promote instructional packages and lesson programs Golf Shop Operations Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing procedures Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to members and guests Manage point-of-sale transactions, merchandise displays, and inventory Handle tee time bookings, tournament sign-ups, and member inquiries Customer Service & Culture Greet all members and guests warmly, creating a positive first impression Foster a fun, welcoming, and professional environment for staff and patrons Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Support a collaborative, upbeat team culture within the golf operations staff Tournament & Event Support Assist in organizing and running golf tournaments and events Support outing coordination, scoring, and pace-of-play management Qualifications
PGA/LPGA
Associate or Member (or actively pursuing certification) preferred Prior experience teaching golf lessons to a range of skill levels Previous experience working in a golf shop or retail environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer-service mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed Proficiency with golf shop POS systems and tee sheet software a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus lesson revenue share Playing privileges and practice facility access Staff merchandise discounts Opportunities for professional development and
