This pivotal role involves overseeing daily golf activities, managing staff, enhancing guest experiences, and driving the overall success of the golf program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for golf, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As the face of our golf team, you will foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of golf operations, including tee time management, course maintenance coordination, and event planning Supervise and motivate staff members, including assistant professionals, instructors, and support personnel to ensure high performance and excellent guest service Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills in customer service, technical proficiency, and operational procedures Oversee event management for tournaments, corporate outings, weddings, and other special functions at the golf venue Manage budgets, control costs, and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining financial integrity Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of equipment, supplies, and services necessary for smooth operations Ensure compliance with safety regulations by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications among staff and implementing safety protocols across the facility Utilize Microsoft Office tools for report writing, scheduling, staffing plans, and operational documentation Drive operational management initiatives to optimize course utilization, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation Foster a positive team environment through effective managerial communication and leadership in shift management Qualifications Proven experience as a Head Golf Professional or similar managerial role within a golf or hospitality setting Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing staff performance Strong background in events management and operational planning for large-scale functions or tournaments Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint for report writing and data analysis Experience with budgeting, cash handling, and financial reporting within a hospitality or resort environment Knowledge of technical aspects of golf operations including course management systems and equipment handling Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable to ensure safety standards are met Previous resort experience or assistant manager experience is preferred to bring comprehensive operational insight Effective managerial decision-making abilities coupled with strong communication skills to lead teams confidently Join us as our Head Golf Professional to inspire excellence on the course while delivering outstanding service that keeps guests coming back.
