Overview We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team and contribute to the exceptional golf experience our members have come to expect. Experience Required PGA Associate or pursuing PGA Membership (preferred) Previous experience in a private club or high-end golf environment preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient with POS systems (ForeTees, Jonas, or similar) Strong knowledge of the game of golf, tournament formats, and golf rules Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak season hours Essential Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Golf Operations Greet and assist members and guests in a professional, courteous manner Manage daily tee sheet and coordinate play efficiently Assist in monitoring pace of play and enforcing club policies Help organize and run member tournaments and events Maintain a clean, organized golf shop and staging area Provide club regripping Merchandising Assist with inventory control, receiving, tagging, and displaying merchandise Monitor sales and contribute to visual merchandising strategies Participate in monthly inventory counts and reporting Instruction Assist in running junior golf programs, clinics, and camps (if needed) Membership Service Build strong relationships with members to enhance their experience Resolve any member concerns or issues in a timely, professional manner Promote club activities, events, and services Benefits PGA dues reimbursement (if applicable) Lesson income (when applicable) Meals while on duty Playing and practicing privileges Opportunities for career growth and PGA advancement
