Job Description
Strength Coach / Head of Performance - FC Dallas Performance Center FC Dallas is seeking a qualified Strength Coach to support the physical development, performance, and durability of its athletes. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and supervision of evidence-based strength and conditioning programs that align with FC Dallas' high-performance model. The Strength Coach will work collaboratively with coaching, sports medicine, and performance staff to optimize athlete readiness, reduce injury risk, and support long-term development across all phases of the competitive season. What you'll do: Design and deliver individualized and team-based strength and conditioning programs for in-season, off-season, and pre-season periods, utilizing current research and best practices. Monitor athlete performance, workload, and progression through testing, data tracking, and ongoing evaluation. Collaborate with sports medicine staff to support injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation programming, and return-to-play processes. Conduct sport-specific needs analyses and adjust programming to meet positional, developmental, and performance demands. Maintain a safe, professional, and high-performance training environment, including facility oversight, equipment management, and risk mitigation. Establish and enforce performance center policies, safety standards, and athlete conduct expectations. Contribute to athlete education through instruction, coaching, and mentorship. Assist with departmental planning, budgeting, equipment procurement, and staff development initiatives as required.
