Job Description
Overview The 1 st Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for promoting the game of golf through leadership and an operational structure that provides a "first class" environment for our guests. Experience Required Must have at least three (3) years of head golf professional experience or an Assistant that has been working under a head golf professional for a minimum three (3) years High School Diploma or GED preferred Essential Responsibilities Club Management Assists the Director of Golf Ops with all Golf Shop, Outside Guest Services, Driving Range, and Cart Maintenance staff Provide a personable and professional golf environment that is highly focused on providing superior customer service at all times Work with assistant professionals to develop golf programs and services that foster a passion for golf, good sportsmanship, and commitment to our Club. Golf Shop Operations Acts as Administrator for the Golf Shop POS System Ensure to provide the appropriate training to the staff Cover shift at Pro Shop as needed Coordinates activities of the Golf Shop personnel to assist in merchandise sales, tagging, and stocking Works with Assistant Golf Professionals to ensure the tee sheet is managed properly Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues when arises Merchandising Works with the Merchandiser to assure the Golf Shop is well stocked with the appropriate amount of inventory. Assists the Merchandiser in the scheduling and processing of the quarterly physical inventory. Previous experience in resolving customer complaints is highly desirable
