Job Description

Overview The 1 st Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for promoting the game of golf through leadership and an operational structure that provides a "first class" environment for our guests. Experience Required Must have at least three (3) years of head golf professional experience or an Assistant that has been working under a head golf professional for a minimum three (3) years High School Diploma or GED preferred Essential Responsibilities Club Management Assists the Director of Golf Ops with all Golf Shop, Outside Guest Services, Driving Range, and Cart Maintenance staff Provide a personable and professional golf environment that is highly focused on providing superior customer service at all times Work with assistant professionals to develop golf programs and services that foster a passion for golf, good sportsmanship, and commitment to our Club. Golf Shop Operations Acts as Administrator for the Golf Shop POS System Ensure to provide the appropriate training to the staff Cover shift at Pro Shop as needed Coordinates activities of the Golf Shop personnel to assist in merchandise sales, tagging, and stocking Works with Assistant Golf Professionals to ensure the tee sheet is managed properly Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues when arises Merchandising Works with the Merchandiser to assure the Golf Shop is well stocked with the appropriate amount of inventory. Assists the Merchandiser in the scheduling and processing of the quarterly physical inventory. Must be able to adapt communication style to suit different audience Effective facilitation skills to facilitate a presentation Must have strong interpersonal skills Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment Must be able to work with the diverse working environment such as age, cultures, languages, and genders Must have strong customer service skill. Previous experience in resolving customer complaints is highly desirable

Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times Must provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Must have a valid Driver's License Must have good standing PGA Certification Working Conditions Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekdays, weekends and holiday based on the business needs Must be able to both indoors with A/C and outdoors

printers, copiers, facsimile, laminating machine, shredders, PC (Windows, Microsoft Office suite)
Golf Operation Equipment:
Golf Carts, POS system, Cashier, GPS systems, Ball Pickers Must be able to stand, sit, bend, stretch, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
