Overview The Golf Clubs at The Tribute is a 36-Hole Semi-Private facility, home to both Old American Golf Club and Tribute Golf Links. The Assistant Golf Professional position at our club is responsible for managing the day-to-day golf operations. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations this position will be responsible for ensuring all members and guests are provided an elevated experience both facilities are known for. Golf Professionals at the Golf Clubs at The Tribute will be asked to play golf with members, progress through the PGM program until completion, assist the Director of Player Development with high-performance coaching as well as coordinate/excute member programming and corporate outings at a high level. The ideal candidate for this position will have aspirations to advance their career to the next level and be a daily difference maker within the Golf Operations team. Experience Required PGA Associate in progress while actively pursuing PGA membership is required. Minimum High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Minimum two years as a golf professional preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven leadership skills. Eager to learn and grow within the golf industry. Serve as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees. Essential Responsibilities Manages daily golf operations in the Golf Shop. Provides legendary customer service to all patrons while on property. Maintains a positive image while on and off property and throughout the community. Be a part of a team oriented culture. With an eagerness to learn and develop. Provides private golf instruction to both Members and guests. Ensures all staff is adhering to all policies and procedures while at the facility. Monitors and enforces adherence to all safety procedures and cleanliness of all areas within the clubhouse. Responsible for inventory controls, checking-in merchandise in accordance with procedures, organization of storage and display areas. Proper cash handling procedures as well as making sure all revenue and rounds are captured. Helps organize and execute member programming as well as corporate outings. Coordinates and communicates with other departments regarding golf activities and employee matters.
