We bake Tuesday-Saturday, being available Saturday is very important. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for someone who is kind, relaxed and enjoys the art of baking. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bagels with room for growth. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Bake with creativity and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards. Package baked goods for sale while ensuring they are presented attractively. Collaborate with team members to fulfill catering orders and special requests. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections. Must be able to lift 50 lb. bags of flour Skills Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Proficiency in using kitchen tools, including knives and baking equipment. Experience in food preparation and catering is preferred. Creative cake decorating skills to enhance product offerings. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong customer service skills to engage positively with clients.
