We're looking for an experienced Baker to join our production team. This is a hands-on production role focused primarily on making dough, rolling and cutting dough, and baking cookies . The right candidate will have experience working with dough and commercial kitchen equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Position Details Part-time, hourly position $22-$25 per hour , depending on experience 10-15 hours per week to start Primarily weekday shifts Hours are expected to increase beginning in October as production ramps up for the holiday season Additional hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, may be available or needed during peak production periods After the holiday season, there may be an opportunity to continue in the role at approximately 10-15 hours per week , depending on the company's ongoing production needs San Francisco, CA Responsibilities Prepare cookie dough according to established recipes and production procedures Accurately measure and scale ingredients Operate commercial mixers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment Roll, cut, and prepare dough for baking Bake cookies according to precise time and temperature requirements Monitor cookies during baking and identify products that do not meet quality standards Maintain consistency across large production batches Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed, including icing, packaging, ingredient preparation, and inventory Keep equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen clean and organized Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines Qualifications Required Previous experience working with dough in a bakery, commercial kitchen, or similar production environment Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment, including mixers and ovens Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures precisely Ability to consistently produce the same result from batch to batch Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Able to stand for extended periods Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Reliable, punctual, and dependable Able to work independently once trained Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed Preferred Previous cookie or sugar cookie experience Experience with large-batch production Food Handler Certification What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that production baking is about precision, consistency, and efficiency .
