The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in, sourdough breads, focaccia, pizza, pastries. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of goods including Sourdough breads, Focaccia, Pizza, pastries, quiche, etc. Follow times and temperatures accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and texture. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations throughout the baking process. Review all lists to fulfill special orders and make sure items are going to their designated location. Utilize kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Ability to move at a fast pace while paying attention to multiple products proofing/baking. Pack and sort products to their specific location. Pack and deliver to the storefront. Requirements Proven experience as a Baker in a bakery, restaurant, hotel, catering environment is preferred. Ideally 2+ years experience. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to baking and pastry preparation. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Basic knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment. Creative mindset with an eye for detail in cake decorating and presentation. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
