Job Overview:
The Baker is responsible for working with the Bakery Manager and team to utilize their culinary skills and experience to produce a variety of bread and baked goods. This individual needs to have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below but are not limited to.
General Responsibilities:
Works daily with the team to prepare all requested items from scratch. Items include a variety of bread and croissants. Sets up, maintains, and breaks down station according to food operation guidelines, displaying excellent safety and sanitation skills. Maintains accurate counts on all food items prepared, to ensure no discrepancies with orders. Complies with all company safety and risk management policies. May perform other duties and responsibilities.
Skills/Qualifications:
Positive attitude. Detail-oriented. Ability to communicate with co-workers with professionalism. Maintains a professional relationship with all co-workers, vendors, supervisors, and customers. Problem-solving skills. Self-Motivated. Organized. Must be able to speak, read and understand basic recipes/directions.
Position Requirements:
Willingness to learn and grow. Ability to work with a flexible schedule. Must comply with uniform requirements. Ability to show up to work on time for scheduled shifts. Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours. Ability to reach, bend, push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. Must be available Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
