Experienced Bread Baker Field & Fire - 3.2 Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Bakery experience Bread making Food safety sanitizing procedures Commercial kitchen cleaning Food preparation Full Job Description Field and Fire is seeking artisan bread bakers to staff our New Baking Facility at 2055 Oak Industrial Dr. We are looking for a passionate baker who preferably has some experience but is excited to learn about sourdough baking, including how to mix, ferment, shape and bake a hand crafted loaf of bread. An understanding of kitchen procedures and some baking experience is beneficial.
The shifts are typically:
2am-10am : Part or Full-Time available. Weekend/Nighttime availability is necessary. Pay commensurate with experience. Accurately follow formulas in the preparation of all dough. Measure, mix, shape and bake breads and pastries according to the production schedule. Organize ingredient storage and all supplies, equipment, and workspaces as needed so that all workers can locate resources and products. Ensure bakery process continues in smooth operation by eliminating obstacles to production. Keep all areas clean and sanitized. Maintain cooperative and consistent levels of communication with co-workers Must understand oral and written instructions, and execute with little or no additional direction. Work overtime when needed and assist with the workload of others. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends.
