Artisan Baker / Prep - Focaccia + Bread Production now hiring: dough team (baker, dough maker) we're looking for someone who takes pride in craft — someone who cares about process, and consistency. this is a morning and late morning production role focused on prep, dough, with support in wholesale. if you like working with your hands, staying organized, and being part of a tight, focused team — this role is for you. this role is best for someone who enjoys structured systems and early starts. a bout due focacceria cafes | growing locations due focacceria is a neighborhood eatery rooted in italian tradition, craft, and daily rhythm. we produce focaccia and artisan breads from scratch every day — supporting both our café and growing wholesale program. our kitchen is built on systems, consistency, and pride in execution. this is a hands-on production environment where details matter. the role — prep/ baker this role is part of our production team, focused on executing our prep daily and bakery program while supporting prep and wholesale production. you will be trained on prep systems, and dough with an emphasis on consistency, timing, and organization. shift structure early morning shifts required (start between 4:30am-6:00am) late morning shifts required (start between 10:00am-12:00pm), high volumne days 6-10 hour shifts 30-40 hours per week weekend + holiday availability required what you'll do mix, scale, and bake focaccia and bread products execute dough handling and fermentation processes prep production (sandwich builds, ingredient prep, labeling) follow production systems with consistency and accuracy manage time effectively during small-team production shifts maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station support wholesale and café production needs what we're looking for 1+ year experience in bakery, kitchen, or production environment strong attention to detail and consistency ability to follow systems and work independently comfortable working early mornings reliable, accountable, and team-oriented positive attitude in a fast-paced environment bonus if you have: bread or dough experience (focaccia, pizza, sourdough, etc.) experience with high-volume prep or production kitchens what success looks like consistent, high-quality product every shift strong awareness of timing and production flow clean, organized, and efficient work habits ability to move with urgency without sacrificing quality compensation + benefits competitive hourly pay (based on experience) health, dental, vision (full-time) paid vacation (28+ hours eligibility) employee assistance program (mental health, financial, legal support) food and beverage discounts at all carrara & co locations team outings and development opportunities why due we are building something intentional — a kitchen where: systems matter people grow standards are high and the work has pride behind it if you're looking for a role where you can learn, contribute, and be part of a strong team, we'd love to meet you.
