Baker Helper

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Baker Helper in Kansas City, MO . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a food production or bakery environment. As a Baker Helper, you will assist with daily production and packaging responsibilities while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new tasks in a fast-paced setting. This position plays an important role in helping prepare, package, organize, and palletize baked goods for customer orders, delivery, or sale.

The Day-to-Day:

Supporting the packaging process by wrapping, labeling, and organizing goods and other food products Folding, assembling, and preparing boxes for finished products Packaging baked goods accurately for customer pick-up, delivery, or sale Palletizing boxes of baked products safely and efficiently Working closely with team members to keep production moving during busy periods Following daily instructions, as tasks may vary depending on production needs Maintaining cleanliness throughout the work area Following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines Assisting with other bakery or production-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Commercial bakery or food service experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to train and learn in a production environment Strong attention to detail Good time-management skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to follow food service and sanitation rules Comfortable standing, moving, packaging, and handling products throughout the shift

Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:
