Position Overview As a Bakery Front Counter & Cupcake Decorating Associate, you will help create a positive experience for every guest while supporting daily bakery operations. You will greet customers, assist with orders, maintain pastry and cupcake displays, rotate product correctly, pipe frosting, and help prepare buttercream, fillings, and fondant according to Drago Sisters Bakery standards. Our goal is for every customer to feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of. We are looking for someone who can balance friendly customer service with accuracy, cleanliness, consistency, and attention to detail. This position may also offer growth opportunities for someone interested in learning additional cake decorating and bakery production skills. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Assist guests with product questions, order information, and bakery recommendations. Represent Drago Sisters Bakery with professionalism, patience, and care. Help create a positive customer experience from the moment guests walk in until they leave. Bakery Display & Front Counter Maintain clean, organized, and attractive pastry and cupcake displays. Fill, rotate, and restock cupcakes and pastries according to bakery standards. Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the day. Keep the front counter, display areas, and customer spaces clean and organized. Cupcake Decorating & Production Support Pipe frosting on cupcakes with consistency and precision. Follow visual standards for product presentation. Prepare buttercream, fillings, and fondant using detailed instructions. Follow recipes, prep lists, and bakery procedures accurately. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during all preparation tasks. Teamwork & Daily Operations Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks without needing constant supervision. Communicate clearly with team members and managers. Support the team during busy periods. Stay organized and focused during repetitive tasks. Ask questions when clarification is needed. Experience preparing buttercream, fillings, fondant, or similar bakery items. Interest in learning advanced cake decorating skills. Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available. Day shift. 8-hour shifts may be available depending on scheduling needs. Flexible scheduling may be available. Pay Up to $20 per hour, based on experience and skill level 1-3.
