Responsibilities/Position Details Each day we work together to produce beautiful, great tasting cookies. That begins with a very important step in the process, mixing cookie dough and frosting. This position is an early start at 7:00 a.m. that flexes earlier during peak times.

Responsibilities include:

measuring ingredients, using a commercial scale mixer to mix cookie dough and frosting, as well as all aspects of producing the cookie including rolling and cutting shapes, frosting and decorating. The the ability to lift 50 lb. repeatedly as well as prolonged standing is required.

Requirements:

Must be approachable and friendly, treating fellow co-workers with kindness and respect. The ability to accept constructive feedback is essential. Previous bakery or food production encouraged but not necessary. Punctual, with a good work ethic. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Answering phone questions with a professional and cheery demeanor. Hours A standard week for this position at Laura's Cookies is 4 days up to 10 hours a day, with Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays off. The start time is 7:00 a.m. which flexes to earlier during peak times. The end time is variable depending on seasonality and volume of business. This schedule does change as needs of the business vary in instances such as holidays or large custom/special orders. Beginning 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving until New Year the schedule is 6 days a week due to it being our busiest season. No vacations are taken by any staff during this pivotal time.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
